The 2nd Crowdworking Symposium will take place at the University of Paderborn, on July 9-10, 2020. It provides an international and interdisciplinary forum for research on the emerging fields of crowdsourcing, crowd work, cloud work, gig work, online freelancing, and other forms of on-demand labor.
Researchers in various fields including economics, business administration, human resource management, information systems, computer science, sociology, psychology, innovation and law are invited to submit an extended abstract. Several sessions provide scholars with the opportunity to present their academic research on topics related to the emerging fields of crowdsourcing, crowd work, cloud work, gig work, online freelancing, and other forms of on-demand labor. Presenters will receive valuable feedback from fellow researchers.
Registration for the Crowdworking Symposium is now open!
Abstract submission closes on February 15, 2020.
Authors will be informed about the outcome of their submission by March 15, 2020.
To submit an extended abstract for the symposium or to register you will first need to create a user account in the online conference system and then, once you have logged on, you can submit your contribution(s) and/or register as participant.
Please, upload your abstract as one single file in pdf, doc or docx format. It should contain 2 to 4 pages plus references and attachments.
The Crowdworking Symposium will be hosted by the Research program Digital Future - a joint project of the Universities of Bielefeld and Paderborn.
